Chris Van Schalkwyk (above, left) is proprietor of Bushholz Safaris and is rightly proud of the diversity of hunting opportunities that his Outfit provides. Buchholz's portfolio includes some fabulous lodge-based accommodation in South Africa as well as the more traditional tented camps in locations in Zimbabwe, Angola and Mosambique. These pictures were taken in October 2008 and show the stunning quality of the recently refurbished guest facilities at Dabchick Conservancy, one of several that Chris enjoys sole rights to in this area.

Apart from fantastic plains game, Chris has his own land in Namibia for those difficult to find trophy Gemsbok and exceptional Sprinbok, together with an extended territory in Mozambique, which is famed for its Big Game hunting opportunities! Chris has many South African Hunters visit him in Moz, especially for the Elephant, Hippo and Crocodile, so many of the permits have not been available for European Hunters, until now!
